NetEncoder (BETA 0.9) 2/5/2007 is available to download.
NetEncoder
is a professional tool for
converting prerecorded video into Windows Media format using multiple
networked computers.
Please follow these step-by-step instructions:
- Install Windows Media Encoder 9 on each
computer in your network.
Download Windows Media Encoder 9

Install NetEncoder only on your main
computer. This should be where you have most of your source video files. (Download and unzip NetEncoder_v09.zip. Then run the setup.exe).
Download
NetEncoder_v09.zip (Right click, Save
Target As...)

Log in as an Administrator and create a new folder "C:\NetEncoder"
on each network computer and "Share this folder on the network". This
shared folder must exist on all networked computers that you plan to use
with NetEncoder.

Go to "My Network Places" and make sure the shared C:\NetEncoder folder is visible and working on
all networked computers.

Specify the security settings for Windows
Media Encoder and Windows Media Encoder Agent as described in the
Readme document.

Go to Start and
NetEncoder program group and run NetEncoder.
